- Versatile water removal: The 1/2 HP submersible utility pump delivers up to 2500 GPH for draining pools, ponds, hot tubs and flooded basements, with a maximum head of 26 ft; maximum flow is measured at low lift, and actual output decreases as lift and hose resistance increase
- Automatic convenience, manual finishing: The built-in float switch starts the sump pump above approximately 4 in of water and stops near 2 in; switch to manual mode to drain down to about 1/2 in, with continuous supervision and prompt unplugging before the pump runs dry
- Handles light debris: The bottom intake screen admits particles up to 1/5 in for clean or slightly dirty water, while the thermoplastic housing resists corrosion; thermal overload protection shuts off an overheated motor, but does not replace supervision in manual mode
- Flexible hose connections: Use the included 3/4-in GHT adapter for a standard garden hose or the 1-in NPT adapter for a matching connection; the 1-1/2-in discharge supports a larger hose setup, and the check valve helps reduce water flowing back after shutdown
- Extended reach for drainage jobs: A 16.4-ft power cord gives more placement flexibility around sump basins and window wells, while the included 26-ft nylon rope provides a lifting aid; use the rope or handle to move the pump, never the power cord
